VOLUNTARY SUFFERING

You've seen it, you like it
You can have it if you want it
So go ahead and take it
You don't need any ones permission for it
It makes you happy and you know it
You were free to choose and you chose it
You'd love to get you hands on it
But being selfish, you're afraid of it
You know you weren't made to give glory to God in voluntary suffering

A mission, you've got to complete it
You've been given a choice, you've used it
The choice you made, go ahead and do it
Happiness, you have a right to it.
Only one life, you have it
God's service, you're to bring it
To the world, so they'll know it
Your own suffering not necessarily through it
You know you weren't made
to give glory to God in voluntary suffering

If you share with the world you dream to the world it just may seem that they don't necessarily have to give up theirs too.
