LUCKY TO KNOW THE TRUTH

You've been told all you know
You dont need to know anymore
Where you come from the world
pretty much revolves around
that much and nothing more
It never did cross your mind to say
"Why is the world this way"
Your peace of mind never depended on it
because you had enough in you head to keep it away

the earnest thought being read in the minds of people
as they watch you as if they can see deep inside

They've never known what theyve always wanted to
They can tell when something's what they need
But they can't keep looking for it for too long
lest life passes them by and leaves them
in need of something more.

They cannot afford to stop and think about
What they were looking for because they couldn't find
