I still got Rhythm and Beat intact
My Time Signatures many not rock, and that’s a fact
I know my #s & flats, so I guess I’m fine to start with
And insist on being absolutely Natural in my Heartspeak.

I used to think that I should just Rest
But my Soul will stop till it achieves its Conquest
In its Heartspeak, it must surely Indulge
Only then is the world worth a Plunge
I think going Da Capo should only be a matter of the soul
As many times as you must, till it makes you Whole
And Dal Segno is no command I’d like to follow
No Segno is gonna direct from where I must sing from
The same with Coda. It thinks it must show the way
Also the Fermata. I will elongate when there’s more to say
A Crescendo and a Decrescendo as well
They need to know their limits
I will sing with all my might
