September Born

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sMaFKa6yKN0&feature=youtu.be

Well hello there
I don't want to spoil the celebrations
May I just make one announcement please?
I'm on a break from pleading on my knees for you
Because my own blood gave you the key to be free
My Father, He had a plan, you see
Laid out perfectly to the tee
And if you throw it all away on some red white fat jolly gift-rich man
It will all be such a big fat waste

September born, this is my song
Don't believe the lies they've told you all along
I came to set right the timeline
The blood that paid for your life is mine
So be my guest and jump in anytime

Now to go on
I must say it's a grand celebration
But let me tell you of a party up in Heaven
Our joy and hope in you knew no bounds
That was way before you were even born
Now that you've gone far, they only await you more, wherever you are
I'm the life of the party when you find and keep me
A party like you've never known before

September born, this is my song
Don't believe the lies they've told you all along
I came to set right the timeline
The blood that paid for your life is mine
So be my guest and jump in anytime

The mistletoe is tingling
The sleigh bells are ringing
You must be waiting to go out and celebrate the day
Now, I've to get back to my knees
Will you excuse me please?
I've got lots more saving to do, if you'll spare me
Chief guest another day

September born, this is my song
Don't believe the lies they've told you all along
I came to set right the timeline
The blood that paid for your life is mine
So be my guest and jump in anytime

Brotherhood

Brotherhood's on the tip of your tongue
The world has just got to be one
It's coming out your nose
It's ringing in the air
It's itching in your bones to go out and share

You know
It don't grow off of' the trees
It don't even blow in with the breeze
And, no, it won't show when you simply sneeze
Somebody's gotta do the deed

Love, indeed, makes the world go round
True enough, it's no excuse for the sound
Of the tokens you hand out; redemption I don't want to keep
To constantly oblige is a price simply too steep

Don't you know
It just don't grow off of' the trees
It don't even blow in with the breeze
And, no, it won't show when you simply sneeze
Somebody's gotta pay the fee

Brotherhood's on the top of your mind
If you can afford it, it's way more than you need
You're fortunate enough to be able to be so kind
But it's getting crowded with you too feeding off the exercise

You gotta realise
It just don't grow off of' the trees
It don't even blow in with the breeze
And, no, it won't show when you simply sneeze
Oh, and yes, somebody's gotta be one

Full Circle

Listen @ http://soundcloud.com/honnasiri/full-circle

I've been to the depths of my dreams

I dug a little deeper to see if there's anymore than it seems
And there I saw the colour of my skin; it's fairer now than it should be
The skies opened up and they welcomed me in
As I dug on through the feeling just sank in

I've been around and back again
I'll never forget the times I've spent
Watching the sun go down on them days
This one thing I can surely say
Do or die, I will survive
So, stick around and meet me at Full Circle
I'll tell the tale, I will regale

The colours of the world are sweet
You gotta feel them unabated and sink in your feet
But nothing beats the people that you meet
They only make it a funky two-way street
So the pleasure of our acquaintance is mine indeed
As I go down this very funky street

Sometimes I feel like I never really did ever leave
I just went down the road for a while
This to you I swear
I'll be back to this special place
So, stick around and meet me at Full Circle
I'll tell the tale, I will regale

While I'm slipping between horizons, away from comfort that I know
Seeking the breath of the undiscovered in my face
Inhibitionless, do you want to get a little too close for comfort, break the spell and watch freedom roll?
As the corners of the world start laying bare, we'll enjoy the unboxed beauty it springs forth forever more

When the scene's over (The Movie Song)

You better get out of here before this place falls to the ground
True love is a waste trapped in dead bodies lying around
You can make out under the beauty of the bright blue sky
Expect the rain at the meeting of your lips and time that just flies by

But then love, again, is a very strange thing indeed
It's simply no use to go all out and let your heart bleed
The Universe awards true noble chivalry
So serenade her outside her window in the morning at the dot of three
And tell me when the scene's over, and we go back to reality

The world is a scary place when you're the only one who dares
You can step right up and everyone will accept you with grace
Grab the keys and single-handedly make it a better place
Let ego be the bitch and become the monster that you made

Every now and then, the world comes down to this
You've got you, yourself, what your hands can hold and that's about it
Scram for the door and make your way right outta town
Another hero-turned-monster havoc till a new hero's found
And when the scene's over, the real hero comes around
Your day will come to be one of the chosen few
Just remember that it's always never only about you
There'll be an entire world at stake only you were meant to save
Without warning, it's an honour you've got to take

When are you going to crash my wedding and sweep me off my feet?
I ran from the old man with a shovel with the scary bearded face
Based on a phone tipoff from a hooded masked man with a strangely familiar voice who told me to run, run, run and not wait to smell my own fear

Now's the time to ask if you've learnt your lesson yet
The creaking door, the footsteps coming, the crazy feeling inside your head
Take a leaf out of all the movies you have seen
You know what's gonna happen, trust your instinct and get out clean
And when the scene's over, we step into the real scene

Livin' on a happy tune

When I'm down in a moment of gloom
Oh, a song sweeps into the room
Telling me, "It's gonna be alright. Just lay your head down, close your eyes and shut out the cold, cold mood."

When the sun's shining, on the other side of town
And it's all too much to wrap my head around
There comes a song with a great big smile, making me cheer up, helplessly.

Oh, there's always a song rustling in the leaves, riding with the breeze, shining down on me
It keeps the world spinning along, right on track, livin' on a happy tune

When the day has done gone grey
And the clouds shoo the light away
A beam of hope breaks on through
A song that takes away the bad, bad groove

When the night is dark and cold,
When the morning's due, God only knows
A warm, soothing breeze brings fuzzy feet
A song of comfort, putting me at ease

Oh, there's always a song rustling in the leaves, riding with the breeze, shining down on me
It keeps the world spinning along, right on track, livin' on a happy tune

If soul is dry and dreary, and you are oh so weary
If you think you're the only one, who's got the blues, raining down
Lean out your window
Put your ear to the ground
Take a deep breath
Soak it in
Join the world, livin' on a happy tune

Praise the Lord

I got a big fat chunk of happiness
Praise the Lord
He's given me everything I ever desired
Praise the Lord
Now I got to go and wave my flag
The Lord's blessed me much, He's made me glad
Watch me rub it in your face
Praise the Lord

I'm safe and sound and heaven bound
Praise the Lord
I've got the privilege to ride
Praise the Lord
I'm going to scream and shout it out everywhere I
go
Here's to you
I told you so
Let's raise a toast to Him
Now, praise the Lord

He's done 'em mighty works by his hand
Praise the Lord
He's the rock on which I stand
Praise the Lord
He's got me on his mind all the time
My life's fashioned by his mighty hands
Don't you see the big badge pinned on me?
Come on and praise the Lord

He's given me envy in the sight of the jealous
Praise the Lord
He's put his stamp on me and I'm protected
Praise the Lord
When you look at me with those suspicious eyes, I
only say, "Glory to God on high"
All praise belongs to him
Praise the Lord

I gotta sing and shout that He covers me
Praise the Lord
I'm so blessed in my sweet rest, now
Praise the Lord
I'm gonna parade it 'round town so that everyone
will see how good indeed he is to me
I got my license to boast his name
Praise the Lord

The good life is mine all mine
Praise the Lord
I've earned it each single time
Praise the Lord
It's a privilege you can't touch and feel
You have to earn it, to see it for real
May you be inspired by my parade
Praise the Lord

The Awwwwwww Song

Hey, what's on your mind?
Is everything, everything alright?
I got a funny, funny feeling when I thought about you this morning
I hope you're not having sleepless nights
Is everything OK?
How was your day?
Did you have your fun?
Are you glad with the day that's done?
Whatcha doin' now?
Wanna tell me all about it?
You know, I don't sleep without thinking about it at least once

I remember those days when you poured out all your blues to me
Oh, you're such an angel
What could the Universe possibly have against you?
Such a sweet, sweet child
Don't let your spirit die
You're the only one like you
You deserve the best, even if it's taken away from the rest
I surely absolutely must have to love you

You're simply beautiful when you're happy
The smile on your face and the joy in your heart can light up a thousand years
Can I swear to keep you happy and know you in all your times, good and bad with as many a thousand *hugs* as you need them
While I allay your fears and dry your tears, and I make sure all your blues are gone, I hope you see the signs, if not in my eyes, then in the story that makes this song
